CEO or the chief executive officer of a nonprofit organization is the topmost executive of the establishment. They report to the board of directors and carry out the different responsibilities and policies that are set by the directors for the company's benefit. As a leader a CEO promotes the functions of the organization which sets the vision of the group to the overall masses. Side by side the CEO should also support their employee and motivate them to work towards the goal by applying the different products or programs that have been developed by the director boards.

They are in charge of the human resource department of the organization as also the financial and the physical resources. They are the one who implements the plans and policies that are fixed by the board of directors of the organization. He/she oversees all the functions and the needful operations of the organization.
